SAP Integration Lead (Agriculture)



POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The SAP Integration Lead is responsible for establishing the standards, guidelines, and strategy for integration (interface) technologies and their use within the corporation. This role supports solution and governance design and helps to resolve standards non-compliance and exception cases.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produces conceptual and logical solution designs as input to project delivery teams implementing new business solutions, including central hub Fiori deployment and connectivity to all subsidiary SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Manages all interfaces through the SAP CPI to and from S4/HANA and CAR
  • Reviews project team physical architecture designs to ensure conformance with corporate standards, or to resolve exceptions
  • Sets application integration strategies, standards, guidelines, patterns, and conventions
  • Identifies corporate tooling for the development and operation of interfaces using message brokers, SOA/ESB tools, ETL, etc.
  • Reviews and approves all documentation for critical interfaces
  • Participates in portfolio management process and provides input, from an Integration view, to the SAP Release Plan
  • Monitors impacts to upstream and downstream systems based on SAP Project and Incident Management work
  • Conduct evaluations and selection of new technology platforms, architecture.
  • Establishes standards for system administration, methods for monitoring and reporting, and the outage contingency plan.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or information systems or equivalent SAP experience.
  • 2 to 4 years' experience working with SAP CPI
  • Knowledge of Fiori Applications introduced with S/4
  • Technically fluent in SQL
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge on usage of operational support tools within SAP Solution Manager (and managed systems).
  • Ability to adjust priorities in rapidly changing environments; work well under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present complex ideas and designs to a variety of technical or non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are required
  • Work and collaborate with other technology groups to support the SAP landscape
  • Exemplary troubleshooting and ability to drive root cause analysis on incidents and problems
  • Ability to provide effective onsite and remote support and troubleshooting 24X7
