If you are an Accounting & Finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Natchitoches, LA location, you will apply the principles of accounting to conduct studies, measure operating results to budget, analyze variances, prepare journals, design reports to measure costs, audit procedures, reconcile inventories and work with general accounting systems.
AS A FINANCIAL ANALYST, YOU WILL:
Be responsible for keeping ICQ and flowcharts current
Testing processes and controls, making recommendations for corrective actions and implementation follow-up
Reconcile and correct NBV and A/D balances
Ensure assets are placed inservice timely and accurately
Assist with payroll during peak and vacation periods
Perform verification and audits of Value Stream/Capital projects to facilitate exhibits 119/120
Prepare and enter monthly journal entries
WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Business
1-2 years experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
2+ years related relevant experience
Experience with Hyperion and/or Oracle
Manufacturing finance experience

About our Location
Alliance Compressors is a joint venture established by Emerson Climate Technology, Inc., (formerly Copeland Corporation) a subsidiary of Emerson, and Trane (now a part of Ingersoll Rand,) and Lennox International. The partnership was formed for the purpose of developing, manufacturing, and marketing one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third largest manufacturing business in the area and offers the 600+ employees many opportunities for advancement.
