Benefits Analyst - Hybrid (Sales)
This Benefits Analyst is responsible for the administrative activities associated with benefits and wellness plans and programs, as well as preparation and distribution of communications. The role is also responsible for wellness and absence management.
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
Benefits Administration
· Responsible for the annual planning, administration, and communication of the corporate wellness programs (physical and financial) to drive engagement and participation, including incentive campaigns, and annual biometric wellness screenings and flu shots at several US locations.
· Processes and monitors leave of absence (LOA) requests including pay, benefits, and compliance with federal FMLA and state laws.
· Validates Shor-Term Disability (STD) payments and work with payroll for accurate disability payments.
· Processes FSA, HSA contribution funding & 401k funding and wire transfers per payroll calendar. Troubleshoots issues.
· Researches and responds to participant questions via mail and benefits inbox.
· Handles new hires & terminations as related to company provided benefits.
· Reviews eligibility file feed discrepancy reports from benefit carriers and resolve any issues.
Compliance
· Assists in ensuring all compliance items are completed and fully executed in accordance with regulatory timelines (PCORI fee,1094s, 1095s, etc.)
· Responsible for accuracy, fulfillment, and distribution of routine compliance communication mailings (i.e., SPD's, annual SARs, Medicare Part D notification, various other mailings based on yearly projects).
Communications
· Supports Benefits team with drafting, reviewing communications. Distributes routine employee communications and communications to HR including annual enrollment, EAP, wellness, 401k, and other communications.
· Responsible for distributing emails to HR and associates.
· Updates all web-based communication platforms.
· Partners with vendors or other third-party printers to distribute mailings.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
· 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Benefits, Total Rewards, and/or another HR Field.
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Experience working with HR systems and Compensation Software is preferred.
