Oracle Cloud ERP Analyst (Information Technology)

Position Title:  Oracle Cloud ERP Analyst                           

 

Position Summary:

The Oracle Cloud ERP Analyst is a member of the Enterprise Systems Team within the Digital Transformation Organization. This team is responsible for supporting all ERP functions specifically focused on Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain. The Oracle Cloud ERP Analyst will partner within digital and cross-functionally to provide end user-support and troubleshooting expertise. Additionally, this role is accountable for recommending product improvements and best practices to reduce support issues, improve system usability, and increase customer experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as second and third level support for internal ERP system issues, specifically Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion).
  • Create Service Request, troubleshoot and coordinate resolution with 3rd party providers (such as Oracle Support, RecVue, Frontera and others), if necessary, and communicate with end user.
  • Implement configurations and support business processes in Oracle Fusion application modules.
  • Ensure users are kept informed of issue status and the support issue is maintained in Crown systems.
  • Track support issues to develop targeted instructional material to reduce support requests and improve usability.
  • Implement user defined objects in the ERP to quickly solve certain end user needs without development resources.
  • Interact with key business users of the ERP to assess their use of the product and provide suggestions on improved business processes where appropriate. Work with members of the team as well as vendor-provided support and training to implement off-the-shelf solutions where practical.
  • Monitor roll out of new features and modules in the ERP and develop the appropriate method of training, including in-person, recorded and digital content, to help ensure a successful implementation.
  • Regression testing of new versions of application/software
  • Creating change requests for all set up or configuration alterations
  • Scoping and requirement gathering for new functionality requests

 

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in computer science, information technology, or Accounting/Finance
  • Oracle certification is a plus

 

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Six (6)+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Oracle
  • Three (3)+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud modules and Oracle Cloud reporting tools
  • Demonstrated experience with functional use of the applications as well as the set-up and configuration of the modules, especially Oracle Financials and Procurement Cloud application modules.

 

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of Oracle Procure to Pay, Project, and Oracle Inventory is a plus
  • Experience in full life-cycle project management for ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with proven ability to discuss technical & functional issues/solutions with teammates at all levels
  • Demonstrated skills with research troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem solving
  • Strong customer service orientation

 

Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.  During COVID19, this role will work remotely to mitigate risk. This position may require occasional travel when conditions allow.
