Drone Operator/QC Analyst (Information Technology)

Trinity Solar, the Northeast's largest privately-owned solar integrator, is looking for an RSA Drone Operator / QC Analyst for our HQ in Wall, NJ. This is a hybrid role that will require balancing the responsibilities of each role. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven individual that is detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.

The Drone Operator role is to collect information on site by flying the drone to record images of house and shade obstructions around the site. The data collected is used to create a 3D model of the site that we can then use to create a proposal for the Sales Team.

The RSA (Remote Site Assessment) QC Analyst role is to validate solar site info is accurate for potential sales appts. This includes verifying the model of the home, including pitch, orientations and dimensions of roof model, verifying all shade obstructions and creating the design layout for best production, aesthetics and setback requirements. The Remote Site Assessment of the home is crucial to assist the Sales Team in closing the deal.

Qualifications/Responsibilities of the Drone Operator/QC Analyst:

  • Drone Cert Part 107 highly preferred
  • Driver's License with clean record
  • Requires Initial Training at HQ (NJ), ongoing trips to HQ (NJ) as needed for additional training
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Validate solar site info is accurate
  • Independently meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Working as part of a team
  • Adapting quickly to changes and increase in volumes
  • Effective Time Management-Maintaining a steady workflow
