QA Lab Technician (R&D)
Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic interconnect components, located in Oyster Bay, NY,has a great opportunity available for a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to assist in the daily activities of the department, resolving any quality assurance issues with customers regarding our products.
Job Responsibilities:
Receives customer complaints and discusses preliminary action to investigate. Issues internal Quality Alerts, Return Authorizations, and Corrective Actions. Performs certifications and special tests for customer requirements.Performs receiving inspections, maintains records, and administers corrective action to suppliers as required.Performs calibrations in accordance with our procedure and coordinates calibration services we outsource. Performs measurements and electrical/mechanical tests for certifying and advertising Mill-Max products. Creates new or revised Operating Procedures and Workmanship Standards as they relate to Quality Assurance testing.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology a plusMinimum 3 years related work experienceGood organizational and communication skills.Computer literacy, inspection skills, and basic understanding of the manufacturing process.Technical proficiency related to measurement and tests.
