Job Description:
The Senior Data Manager works as a member of the Cyber Incident Review team within Epiq's Legal Solutions division. This role may be located anywhere within the United States. In this role, the Senior Data Manager is responsible for oversight of technical needs related management of data, data transformation, and deliverable generation and dissemination. The Senior Data Manager will serve as a leader in successful client relationships through effective project management coordination and execution. Successful candidates must have the team leadership and professional background in the eDiscovery and/or cyber incident response industries to successfully manage multiple projects and client relationships in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, high quality work product, and frequent interaction with multiple stakeholders is also a major function of this role.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Ensure client and project requirements are being met with the highest quality and accuracy through verifying and communicating routinely with both the client and internal partners
Consistently deliver proactive communication with internal partners and expeditiously address client issues when they arise
Ensure that an up-to-date record is maintained with regard to the status of all projects being managed
Demonstrate leadership to both the client and internal partners, delivering project objectives professionally and with high quality
Must be flexible in working long hours and have the ability to work earlier and later than their scheduled shift to meet often last minute and tightly compressed client deadlines
Communicate and collaborate with other company departments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to escalation
Requirements for the role include:
Ability to use critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to effectively identify solutions to nonstandard requests and issue resolution especially related to utilizing Excel or experience working with data
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing requirements and priorities
Experience with the specifications of multiple processing and hosting platforms
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences
Ability to quickly learn and master new applications and processes
Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong Microsoft Excel experience
Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new things
Ability to learn quickly and have a positive attitude under stress required
Experience working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced technical environment is strongly preferred
Demonstrates a sense of urgency, initiative and ownership
Efficient workstyle with an eye for continual process improvement
Ability to learn customized proprietary software
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills and an extreme attention to detail is required Preferred
Requirements/Certifications
Experience with script writing in VBA
Experience with Microsoft Access
Experience with Python
