Senior Compensation Associate Job Description

This position requires a highly collaborative and results oriented broad-based compensation professional to provide program support to management, leadership and HR colleagues across broad-based compensation, executive compensation and equity programs. The Senior Compensation Associate will be actively involved in the planning, developing and implementing of global compensation programs, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new jobs, internal promotions or reclassification requests, to include determining appropriate salary, grade, title and compensation.
  • Support the year-end compensation process planning (merit, promotions, etc.) and execution as the primary contact for the global HRBPs and respective Leadership Team members.
  • Support the Senior Director of Compensation in designing and implementing executive compensation strategies that align with organizational objectives, shareholder interests, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Senior Director of Compensation with the Company's equity program including but not limited to equity design, managing the equity award process, administering off-cycle and special grants.
  • Actively involved in the creation, development and management of the company-wide Competencies and Career Pathing program. This works includes working directly with Business Leaders and People Business Partners to identify and describe what successful performance looks like, learning and development opportunities and career mobility opportunities available for our global employees.
  • Support the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate participation in salary surveys through the collection and reporting of data to third-party survey providers.
  • Evolve and manage salary ranges, including range creation, benchmarking, and updating, to drive consistency and market-competitive pay.
  • Proactively suggests improvement and enhancements to current compensation programs, policies and processes for both immediate needs and long-term objectives.
  • Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with five to eight years' experience with building strategy for Broad-based Compensation including design and cost; prior experience in the design and management of executive compensation and equity programs preferred.
  • High capacity, self-directed, motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and be a strong team player; this includes showing a drive for results, inquisitiveness, and adaptability.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to work across departments, manage changing and overlapping deadlines, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Highly data literate and working knowledge of Workday required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Data inspired with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for measuring results through data.
  • WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) desired.
