Recruiter (Human Resources)
Manage the recruitment process to include reviewing applicants, performing initial phone screens, and scheduling interviews with hiring manager; provide support to hiring managers through the recruitment process.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on the recruitment process.
Utilize various recruitment methods such as job postings, social media, networking, and cold calling to source potential candidates. Hold job fairs/hiring events as needed.
Assess internal and external applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
Communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and third party vendors verbally and in writing.
Develop and implement recruiting and hiring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment labor laws.
Work with external recruiting vendors as needed to meet company needs.
Prepares reports and updates applicable stakeholders to recruiting successes and issues.
Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
Prepare and negotiate job offers with selected candidates.
Maintain proper documentation of potential candidates during the interview and hiring process.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor that are not inconsistent with the position.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years' experience with full cycle recruiting
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have a strong knowledge of employment labor laws
Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the state
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
