Senior Transportation Project Manager/Office Leader (Project Management)

Responsibilities:

Plan and manage all aspects of project development for transportation-related projects, including deliverables, project schedules, and budgets.
Independently coordinate the work of engineers and balance the project delivery team throughout the entire project's development.
Establish client relations and be involved with marketing and proposal development, contractual matters, design, and internal and external meetings.
Serve in the role of Office Leader, overseeing daily operations/functions of the office.
Engage with industry organizations in Maine and other states in New England.
Proficiency and experience utilizing software applications (e.g., MicroStation, Open Roads, Civil-3D, etc.) with minimal to no guidance.

Qualifications:

10+ years of related experience
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
PE licensure in ME
Experience with MaineDOT
Experience with Maine Turnpike Authority and Maine municipalities is a plus
A sound knowledge of AASHTO and MaineDOT Standard Specifications
Knowledge of MaineDOT Locally Administered Federal Aid project process for highway and bridge projects a plus
Quality control, quality assurance, and project management experience is required
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent organizational skills
Positive attitude and good work ethic with a desire to work in a collaborative environment
