DESCRIPTION
As a part of our Transportation Engineering Team, the Senior Traffic Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for engineering analysis and design efforts on Wisconsin DOT and municipal projects. S/he will leverage the transportation engineering knowledge and skills to prepare engineering plans, calculations, reports, technical specifications, and technical proposals.
The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with key client decision makers, keeping ahead of upcoming project advertisements and changes in the clients' organization. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead proposal strategies, content, etc. and participate in the interview process to win work and be a visible and an active member of the Transportation community.
This is a part-time position that requires expertise and experience with traffic impact studies, capacity analysis, parking studies, traffic simulation modeling, crash analysis and safety evaluation, and preparation of technical reports and proposals.
