Loan Administrative Assistant (Administrative)



General function: Perform loan documentation processing for all product lines of the Banks loan department and provide administrative assistance to the Banks lending staff. Due to the size of our Bank, your duties will include functions not necessarily depicted by your title, nor specifically enumerated in this job description.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
1. Loan account documentation
a. Preparing loan documentation (promissory notes, security agreements, etc.) through use of our software system, ComplianceOne
b. Uploading loan documentation to file retention system
2. Loan account processing
a. Prepare loan data for uploading to our core processing system
b. Interdepartmental communication to ensure loan account accuracy on core
c. Prepare, send and retrieve DocuSign packages
d. Prepare and send wires with necessary documentation.
3. Credit file monitoring
a. DMV filings and UCC filings and continuations
b. Real and Personal Property insurance evidencing and coverage monitoring
c. Credit file and compliance item exception tracking and fulfillment, etc.
d. Flood log tracking
4. Matured note modifications
a. Preparation of modification documentation
b. Responsible for validating credit file data at time of modification
5. Loan servicing
a. Drafting Notices of Right to Cure Default
b. Mailing insurance reminders
c. Assist with escrow process
d. Dairy assignment payment processing
e. Farmer Mac payment processing
f. Process loan advance requests and payments
g. Process security agreement releases and satisfactions
6. Participate in Loan Department meetings
7. Other duties as assigned

Secondary duties and responsibilities:
1. Assist Compliance Officer with internal and external compliance audits

Professional development and civic involvement
1. Participate in professional and civic organizations to further personal development and demonstrate support for the bank.
2. Attend State Banking Association training seminars as assigned or requested

Qualifications:
1. H.S. Diploma or equivalent
2. Understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
3. Ideal candidate has experience in financial industry
4. Ability to collaborate with team and work with deadlines
5. Strong organization and time management skills
