State overall purpose of this position: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading strategic direction and execution of assigned marketing projects and programs. This involves selecting tactical elements that meet the laid out strategic direction; week of, day of, month of demand program development. In addition, the position is will serve as a cross-functional liaison to aid other departments in development of marketing programs. The position requires strong leadership (staff management a plus); strong writing analytical and communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Independent project management and leadership
Development of milestones and deliverables
Identify and oversee Brand Growth Programs
Identify opportunities for growth
Tie customers to products and opportunities
Research audience opportunities
Develop campaigns to reach the targeted, segmented audience
Creation of promotional pieces associated with the campaign
Identify and measure appropriate metrics for the campaign(s)
Development and maintenance of value-add programs
Identify key need areas within our customer base
Create marketing materials designed to create a stickiness with our customer base
Promote and market programs
Monitor program metrics
Creation and monitoring of marketing campaigns designed to grow our wallet share and profit
Work closely with the Creative Team to create effective, efficient marketing plans and timelines
Identify key business growth opportunities
Research and present new marketing techniques
Interaction and partnership with the sales team to develop and deliver tools to aid in the selling process
Aid in the development of sales training tools
Aid in the development of tradeshow marketing materials
Describe any specific knowledge, training or skills required to perform the duties of this position. Identify specific concepts, courses, training programs or required certifications.
Bachelors degree required. MBA or Masters degree in related fields preferred
5-7 years experience in field or related area required.
Must be proactive, analytical problem solver and strategic thinker.
Strong time management and project management skills a must.
Experience in a corporate environment and interdepartmental communications required.
Ability to negotiate with vendors to ensure that quality standards and deadlines are met
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
