SourceAmerica is looking for a talented Specialist, Regulatory, Oversight, and Monitoring to join its Vienna, VA-based team.

Job Summary

Responsible for data collection and reporting of phase-in-plans and surge protection requests, collecting member NPA legal documents, assisting in preparation and processing of qualification documents for submission to the AbilityOne Commission, track producing member NPA's ability to maintain qualifications through collection of data via QER and Representations and Certifications, as well as provide information to member NPAs on topics such as name changes and related corporations.  Prepare transactions for electronic submission to the AbilityOne Commission. This position reports to Sr. Director, ROM.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as Project Tracking Administrator (PTA) for Phase-in plans and Surge requests as defined in internal Work Instructions. This will include data collection, monitoring and reporting.
  • Support and assist with the evaluation of NPA qualifications and capabilities through collection of and initial review of required data concerning the NPAs status as a qualified agency.
  • Support and assist internal QER and annual Representations and Certification data collection, review, and reporting process
  • Support and assist the development and review of ROM related reports required by the Cooperative Agreement.
  • Support the development and implementation of standard policies and procedures to ensure consistency of best practices as applied to the NPA Qualifications review process

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Associates degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the required education

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge of Federal government procurement procedures, regulations, and the AbilityOne program desired
  • Experience with MS D365
  • Proven experience in customer satisfaction, quality management, and problem solving within private, non-profit, or government sector.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding or application of audit principles, concepts and practices related to statutory requirements
  • The ability to complete regulatory reports and provide written correspondence to internal and external stakeholders including government and/or regulatory bodies
  • Significant travel required (up to 75%)
  • Ability to utilize high level of interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to handle confidential data
  • Must be a critical thinker, detailed oriented with strong problem-solving skills, able to oversee multiple tasks for several projects or base business deliverables, and effectively balance priorities
  • Knowledge of the following regulatory requirements is strongly preferred: Code of Federal Regulations, AbilityOne Program, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, SCA CDC Safety Precautions, Drug-free Workplace Act, and Contractor Code of Business Ethics & Conduct
  • Experience conducting and/or supporting external audits (such as DOL, OSHA, or customer audits)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals and teams across a 400+ organization with a national footprint
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading skills
  • Capable of working independently and solving problems under time pressure
  • Flexible schedule and some travel required during certain time periods
