Craft Services Manager (Project Management)



Work Schedule: 

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position.  Shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Craft Services Manager (Maintenance and Engineering Business Operations Manager) to: 

  • Support the day to day business, special projects and maintenance program operations within Maintenance and Engineering Services (MES) that includes hospital, ambulatory clinics and business locations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and firm understanding of NFPA, TJC, and CMS codes and regulations.
  • Control and monitor operating and project costs through knowledge of operating budget and funding structure.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor's Degree in Business or related study. A Journeyman certification and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree in addition to the experience listed below.

Preferred – Master's Degree in Business Management or Administration.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Five (5) years progressively responsible maintenance operations experience, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity.

Preferred – Five (5) years of supervisory experience in healthcare facility maintenance & operations. 

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Valid driver's license in the person's state of residence.

• Must be 21 years of age or have three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Patient/Visitor Vehicle or UW Health Vehicle other than a golf cart or utility terrain vehicle

Preferred – Certification through a state, national facilities or similar organization.
