Corporate Director Catering and Convention Services (Hotels) (Food Services)
Job Description Summary
Reporting to the corporate operations team, the Corporate Director of Convention Services oversees the functions our Cluster Convention Services Team. Position ensures implementation of the Sonesta's service strategy and initiatives.The position has overall responsibility for executing all company-wide events with a seamless turnover from Sales/CS to operations and through the final billing process. Ensures the team meets Sonesta's customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, focuses on growing event revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department.
We are looking for motivated, independent, sales -professional with a successful track record within a hotel sales organization and demonstrated ability to build mutually beneficial complex customer relationships. The successful candidate will be extremely self-driven, possess excellent communication and customer-relations skills and have solid business acumen.
Focus
The position requires a proactive approach and strategic planning to achieve desired results. The Corporate Director of Convention Services will also be measured on successful collaboration with varying stakeholders to include property leaders, Sonesta corporate leadership including Sales and Operations.
Environment
The job environment is fast paced and results oriented. The successful candidate will employ proactive measures to achieve the desired account and revenue objectives.
