What You'll Get to Do

We're looking for a strategic and execution-minded Vice President of Pricing to build and lead a next-generation pricing function. This role will be instrumental in institutionalizing pricing as a core capability, creating the processes, tools, and structure that empower our sales and estimating teams while protecting margin and maximizing value capture across our product portfolio.

You'll partner with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to architect and implement a pricing infrastructure that is grounded in market intelligence, operational excellence, and customer-centricity. This leader will bring a balance of analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and practical know-how to transform pricing from reactive to proactive across our highly engineered and configurable solutions.

 Lead Strategic Pricing Transformation

• Design and institutionalize a comprehensive, value-based pricing strategy that aligns with our business goals and diverse product offerings—from standardized storefront systems to custom-engineered curtain wall and glass solutions.
• Provide pricing leadership across our decentralized business model, creating a scalable framework that supports consistency while allowing for market flexibility.
• Advise the executive leadership team on pricing trends, strategy shifts, and opportunities for margin expansion based on customer, market, and product dynamics. 

Build Pricing Infrastructure & Governance

• Develop pricing rules, guardrails, and escalation protocols that provide structure for estimating and sales teams while enabling agile and competitive pricing in the field.
• Integrate pricing into existing quoting systems and tools used by sales and estimating, ensuring pricing logic is accessible, clear, and easy to apply.
• Establish internal tools and processes for price book management, quote configuration, discounting thresholds, and approval workflows. 

Drive Market & Competitive Intelligence

• Lead competitive pricing analysis across our product categories, including storefronts, entrances, curtain wall, shower enclosures, hardware, and glass, to inform strategic recommendations.
• Benchmark pricing against industry peers and adjust strategy based on shifts in material costs, customer expectations, and regional market trends.
• Partner with Product Management and Marketing to evaluate price positioning for new product introductions and innovation pipelines.

Build a High-Performance Pricing Team

• Recruit and develop a skilled pricing team to support analytics, operations, and strategic initiatives.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance capabilities in pricing science, value communication, and business partnership.
• Elevate the pricing acumen of the commercial organization through training, tools, and a robust pricing playbook. 

Enable Data-Driven Decision Making

• Create dynamic dashboards and reporting tools to monitor price performance, identify leakage, and assess EBITDA impact.
• Develop KPIs and price realization metrics across customer segments, product lines, and regions.
• Collaborate with Finance and BI teams to embed pricing analytics into broader commercial planning and forecasting.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive pricing experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Background in engineered-to-order, industrial manufacturing, or building products strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in building enterprise pricing capabilities and systems in a decentralized, project-driven environment.
• Experience across a spectrum of pricing models—including list price, configured solutions, and negotiated project pricing.
• Advanced proficiency in BI tools and pricing platforms (e.g., Zilliant, Pricefx, PROS).
• Strong executive presence, influencing skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, sales, and product development.
