You will work closely with our functional groups across the organization and to drive business forward. You will report into the Director, Supply Chain Management and will be based in East Hartford, CT. The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for working closely with suppliers across the world to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts on time that meet our customer's dynamic needs. We nurture an internal environment that flourishes with utilization of the UTC ACE operating system, while mentoring and supporting the supply base to ensure they meet our quality standards and achieve success in their lean journey. Are you a leader who can communicate with cross functional teams and have the ability to work in a challenging environment? The rare role of Supply Chain Manager for the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) team is both exciting & challenging. This position requires uncommon analytical skills & the ability to build efficient working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; APU Program Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Materials, Continuous Improvement, Production Readiness, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Global Work Share (GWS) and multiple suppliers across all commodities. Strong communication skills, specifically conversational, email, and telephone are required.
