HOUSEKEEPING COORDINATOR - Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa (Hotel) Assists in the day to day operation of the housekeeping department. Supervises employees and interacts with other departments to provide a clean, well maintained facility in a timely manner.

What you will be doing: Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Assigning work to the house attendants, public area attendants and heavy duty attendants.
Assigning rooms to the housekeepers and inspect rooms
Ensure that all rooms receive daily housekeeping service in a timely manner.
Maintain housekeeping daily control sheet.
Updates information in the PMS in a timely manner throughout the day.
Maintains a consistent flow of information within the department.
Communication with the Front Desk regarding rooms and guests in a timely and appropriate manner.
Communication with the Facilities department regarding maintenance needs and follow up in a timely and appropriate manner.
Communication between housekeeping staff and management.
Processes guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning.
Handles Lost and Found items according to established procedures.
Control, issue and receiving of keys, pagers and radios.

Previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a Hotel setting
Previous experience with Property Management System an asset
Ability to communicate in Spanish an asset
Diploma/Certification in Hospitality, Hotel, and/or Restaurant discipline an asset
Service focused personality and passion for hospitality
Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
