Learning Strategy and Knowledge Management Director - Evernorth - Remote (Finance)



The Learning Strategy Director provides direction and is responsible for the output of multiple disciplines within Operations Enablement. This is a key strategic leadership role that will have a focus on Technological Advancements and will be responsible for leading the development and integration of cutting-edge learning technologies to enhance the educational experience and drive continuous improvement within the organization. The Learning Strategy Director is responsible for optimizing business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes, organization architecture and information technology, building and sustaining a process-managed organization. They will help lead the design of the enterprise's overall process structure, including creating a process hierarchy that streamlines processes and eliminates redundancy.

This role involves collaborating with senior leadership to identify key learning initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies, and ensuring the effective delivery of innovative training programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a strategic learning and development plan that incorporates the latest technological advancements to support organizational goals and enhance employee performance.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify learning needs and priorities, with a focus on integrating technology-driven solutions.
  • Design and implement innovative training programs utilizing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, and machine learning.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality educational content that leverages technology to enhance engagement, interactivity, and effectiveness.
  • Utilize data analytics and learning management systems (LMS) to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and mentor a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of tech-enhanced learning initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in learning technologies to ensure the organization's learning strategies remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization, emphasizing the importance of technological proficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, post graduate degree or professional certifications (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of AI capabilities related to learning and knowledge management environment required
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience with proven ability to attract exceptional talent and develop effective teams
  • Advanced knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred
  • Strong executive presence with a track record of effectively engaging with a broad range of high level stakeholders
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with an enterprise focus
  • Demonstrated influence within complex, highly matrixed, innovative and evolving cultures
  • Courage and willingness to constructively challenge the status quo
  • Lead with empathy and supports the whole-self mentality

Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations will be required to perform onsite 3 days per week: Bloomfield, CT, Chattanooga, TN, Denver, CO, St Louis, MO, and Scottsdale, AZ.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 146,000 - 243,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
