Purpose:
The Sales Training Development Manager will project manage the sales training strategy and curriculum for the 1MTD field sales team, Independent Dealer network, and major mass retail partners. The professional in this role will also champion the cross-functional coordination of training content development.
The Sales Training Development Manager will accelerate our current sales training capabilities and significantly contribute to this strategic initiative.
Essential Duties:
•Project manage the sales training strategy execution.
•Partner with the National Field Sales Trainer to build the sales training curriculum for the 1MTD field sales team, Independent Dealer network, and major mass retail partners, with a primary emphasis on the Independent Dealer channel.
•Coordinate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop dynamic training content. Training content may include videos, presentations, etc. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess the needs of the current state and recommend effective solutions based on the training needs.
•Partner with the National Field Sales Trainer to execute training materials with the 1MTD field sales team, Dealer network, and major mass retailers.
•Manage and develop materials for in-person and virtual sales training events. Recommend and outline best practices to support 1MTD field sales team led training events.
•Collaborate with the 1MTD Senior Director of Sales and HR to create a professional development training roadmap for the 1MTD Field Sales Team.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree
•Sales training experience
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Office 365 (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Work Environment:
•Corporate Office setting in Valley City, OH.
Travel:
•Travel may be required. Travel may include visiting Independent Dealers, attending annual meetings, and other as needed.
