The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies, emphasizing digital marketing. The Marketing Coordinator role has a strong emphasis on search engine optimization (SEO), social media, and other digital marketing initiatives.
Assist the Marketing Team Lead with oversight and project management and coordination for campaign/email execution, direct mailing projects, data & reporting, webinar and in-person events, ad-hoc & annual projects, social media content calendar, SEO strategies, digital advertising, website content, and overall digital/content strategy.
Develop and coordinate strategic marketing initiatives and activities to drive existing sales leads and future growth initiatives.
Work with Marketing Team Lead to create and coordinate annual marketing plans that align the business strategy with company growth goals.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns utilizing analytics and KPIs.
Direct internal and external resources to prepare, design, copy layout and content for proposals, presentations, reports, newsletters, brochures, flyers, posters and signs that adhere to brand identity guidelines.
Create, maintain and strengthen the organization's overall brand through all channels and materials.
Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities.
Support development and execution of emails from marketing/development/programming departments, including supporting strategy, drafting copy, developing drafts for review, managing content development, design and send processes.
Develop, plan, and execute marketing events, seminars, webinars, and conference sponsorship.
Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.
Research and coordinate advertising campaigns.
Maintain inventory of marketing assets. Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
Update and optimize – the organization's website.
Develop ongoing roadmap and content for social media (LinkedIn) and manage drafting/posing process; refine strategy through reporting/analysis; monitor comments and inboxes.
Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which engage audiences and elevate the brand.
Define, create, and present optimization strategies and perform SEO website audits that encompass on-page, off-page, technical, user experience, analytical , and content-based assessments.
Perform on-page technical optimization through the writing of title tags, meta descriptions, H tags, etc.
Perform thorough keyword research to build target keyword sets and keyword-to-page mapping.
Conduct link analysis, including opportunities, broken links, redirects, cross-linking, site architecture, and navigation analysis.
Identify IP issues, duplicate content and canonical issues, and URL structure problems.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
2 + years of past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role, with a preference for professional experience with SEO, social media, and other digital marketing tactics.
