Required Skills & Qualifications:
MS degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Molecular/Cellular Biology, etc.), or comparable work experience.
Must have at least 2-3 years' prior experience within a wet bench life sciences lab.
Requires advanced knowledge of biological processes
Advanced knowledge of biological processes
Expertise in cell culture (primary cell and iPSC) and tissue culture
Familiarity with micro-dissections
Expertise in molecular biology techniques (RNA, DNA extractions, rt-PCR, electrophoresis, ELISA etc)
Expertise in protein assays (extractions, WB)
Expertise in immunofluorescent staining and fluorescent in situ hybridization (RNAscope)
Expertise in imaging (confocal, light sheet, live-imaging etc.)
Familiarity in whole mount staining
Familiarity with siRNA
Familiarity with Flow-cytometry
Ability to think independently and perform appropriate data analysis
Can help contribute to manuscript preparation and grant submissions Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner
Computer skills: working knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) is required.
