Senior ID Card Specialist (Finance)



DESCRIPTION:

This position will need to perform the duties listed in-person at our IT Walk-up desk located at the USF Tampa Campus Library.

The selected candidate must have current work authorization in the United States. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. MINIMUM:

  • This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, with one year of experience in a technical support role. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

PREFERRED:
  • One year of experience in a customer service role
  • Technical documentation experience
  • Two years of college experience

  • Strong customer service skills with empathy and de-escalation techniques
  • Troubleshooting skills

  • Provide client support for Online ID Card Request and Online Photo Submission processes
  • Diagnose basic client identity issues and escalate as needed
  • Diagnose ID card functional issues such as failure to read, etc.
  • Print new and replacement ID cards on demand
  • Monitor the incoming queue of online photo requests and approve/disapprove for printing
  • Maintain daily production statistics
  • Perform basic card printer operations such as inserting cleaning cards, loading ink and lamination ribbons, maintaining blank card stock, clearing jams, restarting print jobs, etc.
  • Create and manage trouble tickets using IT Service Management ticketing system
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, including clear descriptions of customer requests and technical issues; specific actions taken to provide support; final resolution of each case
  • Physical requirements include some walking, lifting, pushing and pulling for restocking supplies and interacting with our clientele
