The Learning and Development Specialist will work with all levels of the organization to identify, develop, promote, and facilitate training programs for the OK Transportation Cabinet. This position will partner with subject matter experts (SME) and senior leaders to design and develop content for instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs. This position will report to the cabinet-wide Talent Management Manager and serve the following agencies: Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission.
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience facilitating training programs for adult learners plus one additional year of qualifying experience in software applications used for rapid development of training materials and online courses; or an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the bachelor's degree; or a master's degree in adult education or human resource development plus one additional year of qualifying experience in software applications used for rapid development of training materials and online courses.
This position may be located at the Ward Transportation Building, Neal A McCaleb Transportation Building and/or the OK Transportation Training Center with minimal remote work capabilities. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel normally associated with this position and must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license in order to operate an OK Transportation vehicle.
