Essential Job Functions:
Provides leadership and assistance at Government managed events with audio-visual, auditorium management, and other event activities.
Directs and manages all contractor work on Government managed events.
Assists the Government with recommendations for maintaining and upgrading audio-visual, auditorium, and events equipment.
The Special Events Services Coordinator, or their approved designees, must be present during the business hours of 0600-1800. After normal business hours or during weekends, Special Events Services Coordinator or their approved designees shall be physically present within two (2) hours of notification of an incident requiring emergency response, if and when an emergency situation occurs, and shall be available for contact by telephone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (24/7), including holidays.
Education & Experience:
A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of experience in event services and audio-visual services, including experience in an auditorium/theatre-type setting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph required.
