Job Overview:

The Business Development & Growth Analyst is responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. Their duties include coordinating with company Executives, Sales, and Marketing professionals, reviewing current market trends and proposing new business ideas and processes for increasing revenue and profit.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Business Development & Growth Analyst will be responsible for the following:

Market Analysis & Strategy Formulation:

• Conduct a data-driven market analysis using MEKKO charts to understand market dynamics and trends, identify growth opportunities, gauge our competitive stance, and foresee potential challenges.
• Collaborate closely with industry experts, particularly leveraging internal stakeholders and the regional team, to enrich this analysis.
• Use insights from the market study to formulate strategic plans, helping us venture into new markets and strengthen our position in existing ones.

Sales Collaboration & CRM Management:

• Act as a strategic partner to the sales team, sharing invaluable market insights and trends to sharpen their targeting and approach.
• Utilize our CRM system to conduct monthly performance reviews of our account managers against their KPIs, enabling Sales Manager to identify and bridge areas of improvement, while ensuring alignment with top-tier industry practices.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Dive deep into sales data, especially focusing on trends and patterns in the West region.
• Prepare a comprehensive month-end report showcasing pivotal findings and insights, facilitating a unified understanding across teams.
• Inform and shape forecast development based on in-depth data analysis, assisting the regional leader and the team in proactive planning against future growth opportunities and challenges.

Client Engagement & Expansion:

• Design and execute presentations for both prospective and existing clients.
• Help build and nurture lasting customer relationships, focusing on acquisition, retention, and maximizing sales opportunities.
• Innovate and devise strategies to tap into new customer segments while enhancing engagement with the existing clientele.

Organizational Alignment & Process Enhancement:

• Contribute to the creation and refinement of business processes and policies to elevate organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure the unwavering achievement of revenue enhancement objectives, KPIs, and other established benchmarks.

Other Duties:

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned or directed, in line with the evolving business landscape.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated 2 - 5 years of experience.
• Solid background in business development, strategy, or a similar role, ideally within the upstream Oil & Gas or related sectors.
• Proficiency in MEKKO charts and other analytical tools.
• Stellar analytical, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities.
• Demonstrable experience in fostering business relationships and collaborating cross-functionally.
