Position Overview
The Contract & Vendor Compliance Specialist ensures all Southern division vendors and suppliers adhere to company policies, industry regulations and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Monitor and analyze vendor documentation to ensure compliance with company standards, specifications and legal requirements for vendors and subcontractors.
• Communicate compliance requirements and updates to vendors and subcontractors.
• Facilitate communication between internal operations and vendors
• Resolve compliance-related issues with internal departments
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities, ensuring all documentation is current.
• Provide support to vendors on compliance standards
• Preform risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities, address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions for vendors not meeting compliance standards
• Assist in developing and improving compliance protocols and procedures as well as evaluate the effectiveness of vendor compliance programs and suggest enhancements.
• Track deadline for compliance-related tasks and deliverables
• Work with AMAT legal and risk management to evaluate vendor compliance requirements.

• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.
• Strict adherence to Shelly Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Book of Policies.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Shelly Company employees. Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (insurance industry), 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of policy forms for General Liability, Auto Liability, Work Comp Coverages and Construction Classification a plus.
• Licensed Agent a plus but not required.
• CRIS Designation a plus but not required.

Must possess excellent analytical skills to interpret complex compliance data and conduct thorough audits and risk assessments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with excellent data analysis and reporting skills. Their outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities enable effective interaction with vendors and internal teams, ensuring clear communication of compliance requirements and updates. A proactive and self-motivated individual, they demonstrate adaptability to changing regulations and possess the capability to independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines. With a high level of integrity and ethical standards, they handle confidential information with discretion and provide reliable training and support on compliance standards. Their problem-solving skills are robust, enabling them to address and resolve compliance-related issues effectively, while their strategic thinking drives continuous improvement in compliance protocols and procedures. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, meets tight deadlines, and builds strong relationships with vendors and internal teams, making them an invaluable asset to ensuring sustained vendor compliance and mitigating risks.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as various documents such as accounting guidelines, policy and procedure manuals, and safety rules. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate problems clearly and concisely by collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

Technical:
The ability to use computers with a proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Viewpoint experience a plus.
