Respiratory Therapy Discharge Planner - University Hospital (5793) (Healthcare)

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist Discharge Planner to:
Education:
Minimum – Graduate of a COARC accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
Preferred – Completion of Advanced Practitioner criteria
Work Experience:
Minimum – Three (3) years' experience as a staff therapist, clinic experience in the adult or pediatric population, and experience with discharge planning and coordination of respiratory durable medical equipment for the home
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – Licensed as an RCP in the State of WI, CPR Certified, and RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements:
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
