Responsible for managing the production and production schedule from conception to completion to ensure timely and quality delivery of print, paperless and digital projects and materials for EmblemHealth, ConnectiCare and AdvantageCare Physicians.
Partner with the writing and creative teams to ensure quality and accurate communications are released.
Maintain and communicate the master schedule for all projects and timelines for internal team and vendors.
Serve as the single point of contact for both print vendors and digital partners (Salesforce/website team, Cognizant Inspire
Team and TSG as applicable) and manage their performance to ensure schedule, quality and budget requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
Project / Traffic Coordination and Management:
Act as the liaison between writing team and other departments and key partners to manage data, set deadlines and ensure that work flows efficiently from conception, through production, review, approval process and to completion.
Maintain and communicate the master schedule for all projects and timelines for internal teams (Digital Salesforce/website team), Cognizant teams (Inspire) and vendors.
Follow traffic management and process documentation guidelines.
Produce all assigned / approved communication initiatives.
Manage and prioritize incoming job requests to determine deadlines / schedules.
Implement a process, schedule/project log for the delivery of all print communications.
Monitor the flow of materials or resources through the process to ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate status reports and track schedules to ensure effectiveness and that deadlines are met. Produce and distribute traffic / metric reports.
Identify and communicate risks / delays as appropriate in a timely manner.
Vendor/Partner Management:
Work closely with all print vendors and digital partners (Salesforce/website team, Cognizant Inspire Team and TSG) as applicable to manage their performance and ensure schedule, quality and budget requirements are met.
Manage the flow of information and data requests between the vendor, digital partners, business areas and the internal communications teams.
Monitor the flow of materials or resources through the process to ensure on-time delivery of all print, paperless and digital outputs (mail drop, index file creation/consumption, portal posting, email triggering, etc.).
Negotiate deadlines and costs as appropriate.
Manage production specifications, job orders and related requests.
Managing Quality, Cost and Efficiency of Communications:
Work closely with communications teams, digital partners and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality creative product is consistent with company and client standards.
Evaluate workflow and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of communications.
Request quotes as needed and manages overall production costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business or related health field
4 - 6+ years of communications experience (health care preferred), including understanding of supporting technological systems.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Experience in managing external vendors.
Knowledgeable about printing technology and processes.
Knowledgeable about web-based technology and applications.
Proficient in: Mac OSX platform, QuarkXpress, Adobe CS5 Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign)
