Purpose:
~ Primary purpose of this role is to provide critical support to the planning and management of HMA's media investments. This role will also serve as the point person for media performance metrics and analysis.
Major Responsibilities:
~ Actively support management all media and investment planning and executions
~ Act as the primary point of contact between HMA Media and working level HMA PLM team
~ Review media driven plans/tactics by model and at region/market level
~ Provide data and/or analysis regarding investment, interest and/or demand at model level
~ Support the development/delivery of key data and/or analysis to be used in monthly governance meetings
~ Connect with HDAA/Tier 2 media team, understand the regional media plans, and ensure alignment with T1 lifestyle and in-market
~ Conduct regular meetings with endemic partners to confirm efficacy of existing investments, and explore new opportunities
~ Ensure in-market creative is appropriate/aligns with intended media placement goals
~ Manage and deliver monthly in-market budget/spending report
~ Lead monthly in-market performance review meeting and provide summary analysis for upward reporting
~ Review in-market related HVAs/KPIs and make adjustment recommendations
~ Support media/marketing management in the execution of media plans, using data visualization, demand metrics reports, brand metrics reports, media investment tools and third party reports and tools.
~ Manage Google relationship, including use of GA360 to deliver greater insight into HMA's demand generation efforts
~ Provide ongoing analysis of Search/Sales Share Ratios and Conversion by model, by region and by market
Authority:
~ This position requires frequent independent judgment and analysis regarding data that is critical to inform executive level business decisions. Position collects and controls data that may directly influence HMA business operations.
Education:
~ Bachelor's degree required.
Related Experience:
~ Six years of experience in automotive marketing.
~ At least three years of experience working in media planning/strategy.
~ At least three years of experience directly managing marketing performance data capture and analysis.
~ Three to five years of supplier management experience preferred.
~ In-depth understanding of Google Analytics, including GA360.
~ Direct experience using data visualization tools.
Skill/Knowledge:
~ Ability to manage high-paced environment with multiple projects and agency personnel.
~ Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing timelines
~ Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships at variety of levels; executive, managerial, subordinate and agency hierarchy of personnel.
~ Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
~ Ability to work autonomously and make decisions independently.
~ Effective project, personnel and budget management skills.
~ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
~ Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including data processing functions.
~ Experience creating data visualizations, preferably in Tableau.
~ Working knowledge of digital marketing and website practices and technologies.
~ Must be detail oriented.
~ Understanding of automotive retail environment.
~ Understanding of media buying practices and terminology.
Physical requirements:
~ Normal office duties.
~ Occasional travel within US required.
~ Ability to work beyond normal business hours in order to obtain and prepare key business data for executive meetings or presentations.
