Professor (Tenure Track) Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy (Finance)
The University of Southern California School of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure track faculty position at the rank of Full Professor in the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy. The successful candidate will lead laboratory based and translational research and teaching.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Pharmacology or a related equivalent degree(s) and demonstrate strength in research and teaching in alcohol and addictive disorders, as well as neurodegenerative diseases. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in drug development spanning from discovery to practice and should have a solid foundation in regulatory issues related to the FDA.
Duties and responsibilities for this position include: mentoring and teaching in the department's graduate and the School's Doctor of Pharmacy programs, developing interdisciplinary research collaborations with colleagues within the School and as well as across the University. The successful candidate should have demonstrated capabilities in grant solicitation, a track record of publishing in peer reviewed journals, and excellence in teaching and advising students.
