Soft Skills:
• Ready to be a contributor in an enthusiastic and talented team of Software Engineers bring new products and compelling experiences to the market.
• Ability to express complex concepts including software design, module and class dependencies, and sequence interactions to peers as well as non-technical staff.
• Ability to work across multiple code repositories to implement new features, new products, and maintain existing products.

Technical Skills:
• Experience designing complex software systems, including reusable components for fast product development.
• Ability to communicate software designs through high level block diagrams, class hierarchies, API definitions, sequences, and state diagrams.
• Ability to innovate within the constraints of an established platforms to bring new features to a broad portfolio of products.
• The ability to think critically, boil problems down to their essence, and design an abstract solution.
• Experience with modern object-oriented concepts (templates and generic programming) utilizing C++ '11/'14
• Experience with developing portable modular code in C
• Ability to review schematics and develop hardware/software interface specifications
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a multi-processor heterogeneous computing environment
• Experience with source code management (SCM) tools (Subversion, Git, Perforce, etc.)
• Experience with Linux application development and familiarity with Linux drivers.
• Experience with Python/JavaScript
• Experience with test tools/frameworks such as Jenkins, pytest, googletest, unittest
Nice to Have:
• Experience with consumer facing products.
• Experience writing Android native applications
• Experience designing within an embedded RTOS environment, including interrupt handling
• Experience with video product, HDMI, or Voice Assistants
• Experience writing web applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS
• Experience integrating products with mobile applications and cloud infrastructure
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with other cross functional engineers to execute software delivery plans
• Generate use cases that validate the full path of key software features.
• Design and implement software components within the framework of a software architecture, validate architectural compliance through design and code review
• Work with team & project leads to develop software design
• Specify and develop automated acceptance tests for user interface and application software components as part of a test driven development strategy
• Develop code to address assigned defects
• Develop and maintain critical infrastructure, such as automated continuous integration and unit tests, for assigned code bases
• Integrate products into a unified cloud and mobile application ecosystem
Education:
BSCS /BSEE/BSCE with a minimum of 2-7 years related work experience.
