What we do:
The Supervision Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York supervises and regulates financial institutions in the Second District. The Group's mission is to ensure a safe and sound financial system. The group monitors and assesses the safety and soundness of domestic banking institutions, operations of foreign banking organizations, and systemically important banks and nonbanks including financial market utilities in the District. These efforts are achieved through periodic onsite evaluations and offsite analysis and surveillance. The Group also analyzes issues and developments to identify new supervisory risks and develop domestic and international supervisory policy.
The Supervision Group is looking for an in-house communications and engagement specialist to build relationships with Group leaders and work with them to develop creative and inclusive solutions that improve the implementation of Group priorities, keep staff informed, and deepen the level of staff engagement. Counsel senior leadership on strategies and solutions; implement strategic communications plans; provide strategic advice on the implementation of the Group's goals; develop solutions using a range of media; and work with Bank's communications teams to improve the Bank's mission, vision and values. Lead staff engagement through forums and gatherings that connect staff to a shared purpose and vision of the Supervision Group. Oversee volunteer programming and participation to support community outreach and service. Provide communications counsel and support for the Bank's Culture Initiative to reform culture and behavior in the financial services industry.
