ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Data Program Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and execution of data programs within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data initiatives align with business objectives and are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of data programs from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering teams, data scientists, product managers, and business leaders, to understand project requirements, priorities, and constraints. Manage expectations and communicate project updates regularly.
- Possess an understanding of data concepts, including data collection, storage, and processing. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data management and analytics.
- Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support program objectives. Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of program requirements, plans, and progress. Generate reports and presentations for stakeholders to provide insights into program performance and outcomes.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively, ensuring that any deviations are documented, evaluated, and approved by relevant stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the value delivered by data programs. Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
