Hillman Cancer Center is seeking a qualified Research Scientist to assist transplant and leukemia immunotherapy research in the laboratory of Dr. Sawa Ito. The program aims to develop new T cell therapy in hematologic malignancy and stem cell transplantation. The Research Scientist is expected to perform experiment, data collection, and analysis of cellular, molecular and immunological assays including isolation of antigen-specific T cells from human samples, T cell receptor (TCR) or minigene vector design and transduction to the human primary cells, and other immunological assays which include but not limited to flow cytometry, primary cell and cell line culture, cell line development, DNA/RNA/protein preparation, RT-PCR and DNA/RNA sequencing. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3-years postdoctoral research experience or training in either molecular biology or immunology.A doctorate degree in the bioscience field with experience in molecular biology or immunology is mandatory.
