Equifax, Inc.
Product Lead - Digital Identity (Personal Services)
Equifax is transforming our business - and product innovation is at the center of our strategy. We are looking for an experienced Product Lead - Digital Identity to focus on the intersection of our products and our data, who is collaborative and passionate about building and/or enhancing great products and experiences in a highly regulated and matrixed environment.
Equifax's Digital Identity team is looking for a product leader who can help our team conceptualize, build and deliver the next generation of Equifax products that make data sharing more private and secure for our customers and consumers. This is a high impact position on a newly formed team with significant opportunities for growth and ability to shape the future of Equifax's Digital Identity products and services.
In this role candidates will work closely with Equifax's existing customers and prospects to better understand their needs and problems. Candidates will be responsible for setting the product direction, working closely with engineering and design to build it and partnering with sales and marketing to bring it to market.
Candidates will bring their product background and expertise to the team, define specifications, lead planning, prioritize features for roadmaps. Candidates will ensure sound strategic direction and effective detailed plans are in place from architecture to operations to go-to-market.
The ideal candidate has built identity products and sold them to businesses and developers. This candidate concisely communicates complex concepts, can operate in complex regulatory environments, and is passionate about perfecting experiences, whether that be product UX, API design or pricing models.

The Digital Identity team's product managers own problems end-to-end. Product works at the intersection of engineering, design, legal, security, data privacy and customer-facing teams. In this role, candidates will be responsible for the following:
Developing a deep understanding of the underlying motivations, goals, needs and desired outcomes of our prospects, existing customers and their end-users.
Engaging with partners, customers and prospects (and customer-facing teams) to assess market trends and customer demand to drive the ideation and development of new customer value propositions and product concepts.
Collaborating with customers to synthesize and iterate on product design, bringing a unique product vision to the table – avoiding the “build a faster horse” problem common in customer feedback channels.
Partnering with product marketing, sales, design, engineering and our partners to prioritize product opportunities based on impact. Learn as we ship and continuously improve our product development rigor.
Shaping roadmaps, project plans, and clear product specifications that consistently deliver high-quality customer experiences.
Ensuring successful product launches by working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, legal, security, data privacy, design and engineering; build scalable processes to ensure the team consistently delivers quality.
The Digital Identity team is looking for a “swiss-army knife.” A candidate that is independently driven, self-directed, resourceful and always willing to roll up sleeves to deliver. An ideal candidate will have a natural affinity for the details of complicated systems while remaining focused on the larger vision. Candidates should have great interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for learning, building, and shipping products that make an impact.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of skills and experience
5 -10 years of overall professional experience
4+ years in product management or product-related roles
Great product intuition, an “eye” for product market fit and demonstrated ability to find it.
Can work across the entire business stack and make an impact at different stages of the product life cycle: building vision & strategy, prioritizing features or ensuring all the loose ends are tied up when executing.
Comfortable with complex systems and business problems. A MECE thinker (mutually exclusive, cumulatively exhaustive) that knows how to decompose complex problems into member parts, and how to communicate that complexity in simple terms, with clarity and focus.
Understand the importance of rapidly testing hypotheses. Can execute with speed - minimizing effort and complexity to iterate towards minimum-loveable-products while delivering delightful experiences for customers and their end-users.
Grit and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that the product and team are successful.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can articulate complex concepts in a digestible manner to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally with customers and prospects.
Have deep interest in building great product experiences and have a background building B2B2C products, B2B software, B2B APIs or D2C consumer onboarding/identity management experiences.
