SPRING 2021 SUMMER ENRICHMENT INTERNSHIP (Project Management)
Work at assigned site
Have opportunities to implement activities and games
Interact positively with youth and their families while on-site
Assist with curriculum
Be an extra hand for the site supervisor
Will learn how to assist with behaviors
Will assist with the behind the scenes reporting and data tracking
Location:
Ames: Grades K-4; times TBD Monday-Thursday
Nevada: Grades EK-8; 8:00a.m.-1:00p.m. Monday-Thursday
Collins-Maxwell: Grades K-8; 8:00a.m.-1:00p.m. Monday-Thursday

Experience with youth preferred
College student/graduate preferred
Excellent communication skills
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Training, Supervision, and Benefits:
This is an unpaid internship
Must attend an orientation to cover YSS policies regarding confidentiality, drug-free work environment, and child abuse reporting
Report to Site Supervisors as needed
Attend staff meetings and other related agency meetings when appropriate
Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification (offered through YSS)
Must attend Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse Training (offered online through YSS)
Time Commitment and Requirements:
A minimum of 20 hours per week
Must report hours to Volunteer Coordinator weekly
