POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accountant will provide general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll support. This position maintains accounting controls and advises the organization when adjustments are needed. The Accountant participates in the closing process by performing entries and reconciliations. The role assists with the banking and cash management process, and with tax returns and supporting documents as needed. The Accountant is also responsible for overseeing the accounting and tracking process for fixed assets and construction in progress.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
