Group Leader,Contract DOD (Personal Services)

The Group Leader will assist the Supervisor with training and maintaining the cleanliness of the building(s) assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provides all janitorial tasks.
• Thoroughly trains/retains all associates.
• Assist Supervisor by working with associates to ensure all takes are completed according with S.O.W.
• Ability to step in and assume role and responsibilities in absence of the Supervisor.
• Ability to learn and abide with S.O.W. and AbilityOne handbook.
• Ability to uphold company information with confidentiality.
• Respond to requests from Supervisor for immediate clean-up.
• Must report any broken or damaged equipment to Supervisor within 24 hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED. 
• Ability to read and write.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and custodial work.
• Must be able to perform all janitorial tasks on a daily basis.
• 2 yrs. experience in janitorial duties.
• 1 yr. experience in floor care.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow instructions, including safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
• Must attend all mandatory training sessions as assigned.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal Security clearance.
