Machinist - Level 2 Lathe Operator (Finance)

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Greer, SC location on an on-site work schedule.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a machinist or CNC lathe operator.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with quality control and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and machining processes.
• Understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

WE VALUE

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• SAP experience for production documentation.
• Knowledge of Okuma CNC controls is highly desirable.

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to engineering specifications.
• Perform part inspections using gauges, CMM, and visual tools.
• Maintain cutting tools, coolant flow, and machine cleanliness.
• Follow TPM maintenance and startup procedures.
• Navigate CNC programs and verify correct program selection.
• Document production activity in SAP and complete required paperwork.
• Comply with operation sheets, frozen processes, and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate as needed.
• Participate in workstation 5S audits and maintain a clean work area.
