Advanced Welder - Level 3, FAA- Day Shift (Finance)



You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work on-site at our Honeywell Torrance, CA location.

In this role, you will impact the production quality and efficiency by utilizing your welding skills to create durable and precise components, ensuring that our products meet the rigorous standards expected by our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform welding operations on various materials and components according to specifications.
  • Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

PAY EQUITY

The annual base salary range for this position is $57,900 ($27.83/hr.) min --- $86,900 ($41.77) max. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations

FAA REQUIREMENTS

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

  • At least three (3) years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques and materials

WE VALUE
  • Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field
  • Experience with TIG, MIG, and Stick welding
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
WE VALUE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in the aerospace or industrial sectors.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Welding certifications are a plus.
