Intelligence Analyst II - Must have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (Security)

SAVA is currently in considering qualiifed, cleared professionals for our Intelligence Analyst II opportunity providing on-site support for the client team in Vienna, VA. The Intelligence Analyst II will serve as a resource relative to all aspects of terrorist watchlisting nominations, and shall focus on the nominations review and approval process, including quality assurance (QA) and data integrity measures, for inclusion of information into electronic systems, and perform a variety of highly complex and detailed analytical functions relative to the compliance with various laws, Executive Orders (EOs), directives and policies.
Coordinating operational notifications and responses on a 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 day basis for all positive watchlist encounters.
Conducting research, providing appropriate notifications, and disseminating necessary information relative to the encounter to the customer's operational entities, and various other federal, state, local, and international partners.
Ensuring that the database is thorough, accurate and current by conducting research in several databases to locate data when a positive encounter is received.
Documenting the actions taken to resolve each matter and providing encounter feedback to appropriate partners, as necessary.
Performing a variety of highly complex and detailed analytical functions relative to the compliance with various laws, executive orders, directives and policies.
Shift work to support a 24/7/365 work schedule is required.
Travel may be required.
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and the ability to pass a US Government counterintelligence polygraph examination
Bachelor Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, or a total of six (6) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
Knowledge and skills in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions.
Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources in the area studied.
Knowledge of the major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the organization to plan, schedule, and conduct projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program or support setting.
Knowledge and skills in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity to develop new or modified work methods, organizational structures, records and files, management processes, staffing patterns, procedures for administering program services, guidelines and procedures, and automating work processes for the conduct of administrative support functions or program operations. Also, knowledge may be applied in analyzing and making recommendations concerning the centralization or decentralization of operations.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, in order to tactfully and persuasively advise and guide executive management relative to a variety of issues which can be delicate in nature; includes making presentations and preparing complete, clear, and concise formal and informal reports, correspondence, briefings, charts, tables, and graphs that are distributed throughout the program and its partner agencies.
