Associate Director Global Sales & Operations Planning (Finance)
Responsibilities:
Drive S&OP Performance & Process to develop and execute risk adjusted Master Production Schedules
Provides planning expertise, oversight, and guidance to all areas of GQO, Demand Planning, Customer Care, Commercial Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Global Supply Chain Responsible for developing and leading the S&OP and Supply Chain planning technology vision and strategy
Collaborate and Influence Demand Planning/Commercial, Site manufacturing, Product Development, Marketing, PLM, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Internal Audit and other Global Supply Chain teams
Lead the seamless transfer of planning information and activities to the appropriate Global & Site Planning, Procurement & Logistics teams
Drive the Strategy and Implementation of a Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) Process, both with Manufacturing Operations and regionally with Demand Planning
Support development of supply chain strategies to ensure new product development teams design for Planning, Logistics, Sourcing, Service, and Manufacturing best practices, such that they understand and meet the needs of Global Quality and Operations (GQO), as well as our customers
Lead regular planning communication updates to Global Supply Chain leadership & GQO to share current planning risks & status, and the impact to GQO
Responsible for the development and training of key S&OP processes and metrics globally and aligns them to leading indicators outside of S&OP processes.
Develop and communicate goals and metrics to ensure successful execution of Planning program plans
Identify and resolve Planning & Supply issues, facilitate tradeoff decisions, and remove obstacles
Educate / Inform GQO executives when plans appear to be off track or struggling to achieve service and financial goals through driving adherence to the S&OP process
Must be comfortable flagging and escalating risks that may impact Customer Experience or exposure Illumina to financial risk.

Requirements:
Multiple years of S&OP, planning, and scheduling experience both as day to day planner and manager.
Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent, may require an advanced degree (Master's), in applicable field or equivalent.
Typically has 10+ years of applicable management experience.
Deep process/technology experience in supply planning, demand planning. S&OP, inventory management, capacity planning, master data management
Extremely strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, planning, and organizational skills
Strong project management and business analysis skills
Excellent facilitation and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated capability in successfully managing and leading change
Ability to identify, assess, resolve, and where needed, escalate risks
Flexible, with strong risk and prioritization skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting and competing demands
Ability to identify areas of improvement and devise, plan and implement solutions
Ability to collaborate and influence teams within Demand Planning/Commercial, Product Development, Marketing, PLM, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Internal Audit, Manufacturing Operations, Legal/Tax and other Global Supply Chain teams
Proficient in the use of Advanced Planning Systems & Analytics tools, SAP desirable
Clinical and/or IVD development experience desirable
APICS Certification preferred
