Industrial Inside Sales (Sales)

Our Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the dedicated Outside Sales Manager whom services the Kitchen Cabinet, Store Fixture and Residential/ Office Furniture Industries. In this role you will be in charge of filtering opportunities, fielding customers' inquiries, administering quote requests and order entry.

Job Responsibilities

• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales managers for further development and closure
• Fill orders using internal ERP (Enterprise resource planning) System, communicate expected delivery date and explain backorders
• Understand customer needs and requirements; field customer questions and concerns
• Support Outside Sales Rep by answering phone, fax, and e-mail inquiries
• Facilitate daily open order management to insure on-time delivery
• Communicate with various departments in order to troubleshoot, report, and track problems
• Review orders for accuracy and completion

• BA/BS degree or equivalent


• Proven inside sales experience


• Strong email and phone presence


• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Excellent listening skills


• Possess people skills, data entry skills and remain customer focused


• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively


• Efficient in Microsoft Office Programs; especially Word and Excel


• Experience in customer service preferred


• Experience in Kitchen Cabinet, Store Fixture and Residential/ Office Furniture Industries or woodworking is a bonus
