Compliance Specialist (Finance)

Role description:

As a Compliance Specialist, you will work directly with project managers and other supporting staff on capital projects for a world-class pharmaceutical client.

You will be responsible to coordinate an oversight functionality to confirm compliance with standards to assure quality of the service provided, identify, track and report on non-conformances, confirm corrective actions are put into place on a timely basis to maintain quality and mitigate risks to the client, its partners and patients.

Role accountabilities:

  • Carry out the Change Control Coordinator / Requester role for the Capital Projects Non-GxP Engineering Change control process. This includes coordinating with the Project Manager and project team in the development, implementation, assignment & closeout of actions associated with the change control, and obtaining appropriate approvals prior to corresponding project milestones, and regularly report on status to ARCADIS Leadership Team.
  • Facilitate stage gate After Action Reviews (AAR's) and Post Project Reviews (PPR's) with key project stakeholders and share report with Key Lessons Learned and Vendor performance reviews with the wider team.
  • Program's point of contact for leading Operational Occurrence Reporting (OORs) and works with Project Managers to ensure timely development and closure of any Root Cause Analysis (RCAs), appropriate CAPAs are raised, executed, and correspondingly document closure evidence is upload to client system / program.
  • Coordinate with project team during the early design stages to identify assets installed, modified, or removed under the scope of the project and correspondingly work with project team to develop associated forms in complete, consistent and proper format to ensure client maintenance system is accurate.
  • Proactively work with Project Managers on development of and drive submission of project equipment assets information forms to Maintenance and Operations client service provider to ensure equipment installed under the project has preventive maintenance plans in place prior to required project milestones.
  • Liaise with Campus Sites M&O Capital Project Coordinator (point person) to support capital project management on asset and spare parts Identification and registration.
  • Design, development and execution of yearly GxP and Non-GxP Management Monitoring Audit plans for program. Review training curriculum and assigned Client documents on a routine basis to ensure Capital Project Delivery program is adhering to Client requirements. Identified findings of non-compliance and develop associate Corrective Action and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to address findings.
  • Identify opportunities for procedural enhancements and adjustments to promote performance and compliance.
  • Capture and analyze lessons learned and recommendation logs from audits and project close-outs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: bachelor's degree in one of the following subject areas: Construction, Engineering, or similar
• Minimum years of experience: 10 years of relevant experience

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $82,000 - $115,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
