IT Network Administrator (Dallas, TX) - Austin Industries (Information Technology)

Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for a Network Administrator at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. This position is responsible for all aspects of our core infrastructure including Azure/Office 365 administration as well as service ticket support. Use your skills to support our day to day operations mixed with new projects installing, upgrading, supporting a wide variety of environments. As a Microsoft Premier/Unified Customer, you will have full access to leverage Microsoft Support and other resources in performing your duties. Our IT environment is 100% Microsoft Cloud based including Microsoft Teams Telephony. Essential Functions

  • Support Microsoft 365 Exchange Online/OnPrem administration including configuration and troubleshooting (email traces, transport rules, retention policies, etc.)
  • Work hands on with Microsoft Azure Active Directory in a hybrid environment, Office 365 applications including Exchange Cloud and on-prem, PowerShell, Teams, eDiscovery, OneDrive, SharePoint and the entire Office 365 suite
  • Develop requirements for projects by coordinating with technical and business teams. Once the requirements are defined provide implementation and testing of the solutions
  • Coordinate/perform upgrades, software installation for network servers with minimal downtime
  • Perform troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose, and remedy common IT problems
  • Administers user accounts, including employee on-boarding/off-boarding and specifying system access level
  • Develop and support future strategies for Microsoft 365 products and services
  • Daily incident and service ticket support
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years in an Office 365 Engineering/Admin role and 5+ years in a Microsoft Network environment
  • Experience providing Azure/Network support for Power Bi and other No-Code, Lo-Code environments including Data Warehousing required
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (2012R2, 2016, 2019), DNS, IIS support etc., in a virtual environment required
  • 3+ years Cloud experience is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge with LAN/WAN networking
  • Microsoft Certifications are a huge plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff and clients
  • Motivated and results oriented with an ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Position will report onsite to the Dallas office
  • Support may be required outside business hours, as dictated by projects and incidents
