Customer Care Coordinator-Coralville (Finance)
Obtains orders from patients/customers by phone or in person for delivery, pick-up, discontinuance, maintenance, or changes in service
Assists patients/customers with medical equipment and supplies to meet their medical needs, as well as aids in adjusting, training and demonstrating the use of equipment as necessary
Accurately and promptly completes order forms, determines charges and coverage for service requested, collects co-pays, and enters data into appropriate information system
Facilitates the resolution of customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills
Receives inventory, restocks retail floor and labels products
Answers and responds to phone calls and assists retail customers
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); experience in the home medical equipment field and knowledge of Medicare rules and insurance reimbursement are a plus; strong computer skills required in order to enter patient information into the data system, ability to utilize online resources, as well as competency with Microsoft and the Internet; attention to detail, efficiency and teamwork skills are essential.
Post offer, pre-employment background checks, reference checks, TB screen and drug screen and physical agility test are required.
