Communications Associate (Finance)
The associate position provides support to the Assistant Vice President and Public Affairs unit, providing strategic coordination on a range of projects and initiatives to enhance and protect the reputation of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Works across the department and the Corporate Affairs portfolio to implement and track all tasks associated with the communications strategy and individual project planning. Works with colleagues to ensure that intake of new projects reflects the overall strategic goals of the organization, supports the communications planning process, and creates and manages processes to ensure the successful completion of initiatives.
Analyzes and publishes online data and makes recommendations using web analytics applications. Provides internal clients with insights and information needed to make sound business decisions surrounding online space, develops and executes best practice analytics strategy, and implements new functionality as needed to deliver best-in-class analytics support.
Provides administrative support for the Assistant Vice President, as needed, including scheduling, travel and other needs. Supports the Department`s initiatives to enhance organizational processes and analytics to increase productivity of the Public Affairs organization.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Communications Process Developer
Responsible for the development of new tools and processes to streamline workflows and content development. Working closely with the Public Affairs Digital Team, creates new tools that can further automate planning calendars, editorial calendars, content management, review/approval, asset management and other areas as needed. Systems will be created to be utilized by Corporate Affairs. As a result, this role will be responsible for working across all divisions of Public Affairs. Builds new processes and tools to streamline and automate communications processes and capabilities. Creates editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
Content Inventory
Maintains an inventory of content created by Public Affairs and makes recommendations on efficiencies for content creation and distribution. Works individually or in a group to identify, communicate, and implement changes and initiatives with the goal of improving the quality of the operation or product.
Administrative Support
Assists department by performing various administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, answering phones, organizing travel and completing other administrative reports, as requested. Responsible for assuring the Department is compliant with trainings and certifications as needed. Uses the Bank`s various applications to process requests.
Media Monitoring, Metrics and Analysis
Develops all measurement and analytics reports for Public Affairs, including metrics for internal and external websites, social media and traditional media tracking and analysis. Develops and analyzes audience surveys and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders.
Makes recommendations and implements strategies to enhance the way the department assesses the longer-term impact of its work.
Trained on the Public Affairs stylebook, this position will provide proofreading as needed for non-technical content, including internal and external communications.
Fulfills job duties and responsibilities in conformance with sound safety practices.
