The Senior Demand and Supply Planning Analyst manages demand and supply processes as per Nestle Best Practice by working in partnership with top customers as well as internally with Galderma marketing, brand and sales teams to improve the accuracy and reliability of the forecast. This is done through projection of the most realistic estimate of customer demand and managing exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the organization's ability to fulfill customer demand. This position is responsible for balancing supply with demand to improve delivery performance while maintaining optimal stock cover end to end.
• Develops and maintains the Consensus Demand Plan for 40-50% of the total Consumer gross sales volume by using appropriate customer level sales and inventory information, promotional data and distribution information and assumptions. Collaborates with the sales team monthly for forecast alignment.
• Analyzes actual sales to customers and sell-out data to actively identify exceptional or unforecasted activities. Drives fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan. Communicate these actions to stakeholders.
• Utilizes all Demand and Supply Planning system functionality in an effective manner to enable an exception based management approach and implement tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g. time savings, increased efficiencies).
• Improves accuracy and drives out systematic forecast bias through detailed analyses of past performance. Consistently tracks errors using reason codes and maintain an efficient learning log.
• Works closely with partners at collaborative accounts and brokers to evaluate inventory levels and display needs and concerns and determines and communicates recommendations and course of action.
• Monitors essential KPIs, such as MOH, CFR, bad goods, demand plan accuracy and bias, vendor and customer performance, and stock in trade. Develops and executes corrective actions when outside of established boundaries.
• Initiates and implements actions collaboratively with Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain to meet or exceed MOH targets by establishing reasonable stock policies, using best practice tools, combined with identifying and implementing actions to impact MOH improvements (such as MOQs and lead times).
• Participates in MBP (Monthly Business Planning) as defined within Nestle Best Practice guidelines.
• Coordinates projects, including new product launches and life cycle changes, across many levels of the organization including US Marketing, Analytics, Sales, Trade, Finance, I.T., Supply Chain and directly with M&TO and Global Supply Chain.
• Works collaboratively with BU, Analytics, Customers, Vendors, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain to establish best practices for reporting, analysis, and insights.
• Maintains data integrity through data cleansing, validation processes, and ad-hoc checks.
• Creates user documentation, instructions, and procedures, ensuring back-up support can effectively perform job functions in absence.
• Trains and mentors Associate Demand and Supply Planner as needed.

Travel & Residency
Forth Worth, TX
o Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and operations planning, supply and demand planning, plant operations, logistics, and/or inventory management required.
o Experience in MRP systems.
o Strong understanding of how planning process drives operations.
o Ability to demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel techniques, retail math and statistical analysis; experience with “Vlookups”/ Pivot Tables.
o Proficient with MS Office.
o Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks to assure timely completion in a constantly changing environment.
o Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). Ability to present information to cross-functional teams.
o Demonstrates high personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and customer brand focus.
• Preferred
o Experience within CPG (consumer package goods) industry, retails, and/or pharmaceutical environment strongly preferred.
o Galderma specific experience may be considered in lieu of above experience.
o Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and replenishment models with experience in statistical systems, such as SAS preferred.
o Project management skills.
o SAP, Oracle and/or TXT experience preferred.
o Demonstrated ability to lead project team or cross functional teams of non-direct reports.
o Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to see problems and recommend or take appropriate actions to solve them, ability to work in detail and be result oriented.
